Mung Dal Kosumalli with Peanuts


Yellow Mung (Moong) dal, Cucumber, Orange bell pepper, Lemon juice, Jabsons Peanuts with black pepper (which I love!!)


  1. Soak 1/2 cup of yellow mung dal in water for 2 hours. Drain off the water and place the mung dal in a bowl.
  2. Finely dice 1 small cucumber and 1 medium orange bell pepper and add to the mung dal.
  3. Add salt to taste.
  4. Add 2 tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix well.
  5. Just before serving garnish with Jabsons peanuts for a tasty crunch and finely chopped cilantro.
